The new “old” desk

desk

I can’t believe I didn’t get a picture of the top.  There was huge scratches and blemishes.  Nothing a little sanding can’t fix.

Don’t you just love the drawer lining.  It’s wrapping paper that I found on clearance!

wow, incredible revamp! when you put the wrapping paper inside as lining, do you modge podge it or anything, to give it a little protection?

i am looking for a desk to rehab and this has given me some ideas... :)

Wow! You did such a fantastic job! I love the style of the desk--very vintage. And I'm amazed at how gorgeous that top turned out! Very good choice in staning the top. It's a beautiful contrast to the white.
